Multi‑Blanking Cut‑to‑Length Line: Coil Processing Overview

The multi-blanking cut-to-length (CTL) line is an integrated coil processing system for carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. It combines slitting, leveling, servo feeding, shearing and automatic stacking. In one continuous run, it produces several flat blanks of fixed length from a single coil, widely used in automotive parts, home appliances and metal service centers.

Working Process

1. Uncoiling: The coil is loaded onto the uncoiler. The peeling unit feeds the strip into the next station.

2. Precision Leveling: The leveler removes coil curvature and residual stress to get flat metal sheets.

3. Multi-slitting: The wide strip is longitudinally cut into multiple narrow strips. Edge scraps are collected by scrap winder.

4. Servo Feeding: High-precision servo feeder sends strips to the shearing station.

5. Fixed-length Shearing: Hydraulic shear cuts strips into blanks with tight length tolerance.

6. Automatic Stacking: Finished blanks are separated and stacked automatically for later stamping.
